Our family has been visiting St. Simons Island for more than 30 years, and over that time, this special place has become part of our family story. Our two boys grew up coming here, making memories on the beach and around the island, and now that they are adults, they still love coming back. For our family, St. Simons has always been more than a vacation spot. It is a truly special place.

We have vacationed here, made memories here, and owned several properties on the island, but it was always our dream to one day own an oceanfront home on St. Simons.

That dream came true in 2015 when we found the perfect end-unit townhome directly on the beach. From the moment we saw it, we knew it had everything we had always hoped for: an incredible location, a beautiful oceanfront setting, easy beach access, and the peaceful charm that makes St. Simons so special.

After a year-long renovation, we were able to make the home our own. We opened up the first floor to create a bright, comfortable, open-concept living space from front to back, the only unit in our building designed this way. We added coastal décor, cozy furnishings, comfortable bedding, and thoughtful touches throughout so the home would feel both beautiful and relaxed.

One of the things we love most is being just steps from the beach. The beachside patio gets the morning sun and usually enjoys a wonderful ocean breeze, making it one of our favorite places to start the day with coffee or wind down after time on the sand. There is also a large grassy beachfront field right outside, perfect for family games, bocce ball, throwing a football, or simply letting everyone spread out and enjoy the oceanfront setting. For even more outdoor space, the home features a welcoming brick courtyard.

Some of our personal favorite restaurants include Crab Daddy’s, Georgia Sea Grill, Palm Coast Coffee, Mullet Bay, Brogen’s, and Porch. One of the things that makes St. Simons different from many other beach towns is the incredible variety of restaurants to choose from. Whether you want a nice dinner out, a casual lunch after the beach, or a relaxed spot for coffee, you will have plenty of options close by.

We also want your stay to feel easy, comfortable, and professionally handled, which is why we work with Lighthouse Vacations for booking and guest service. They provide hotel-style service with fresh linens, beach towels, upscale amenities, a Keurig coffee maker, beach gear, a gas grill, and everything you need to either stay in and enjoy the full kitchen or go out and pamper yourself.

We love calling this beautiful oceanfront place our home away from home. It has been a special place for our family for decades, and we hope it becomes a special place for yours, too.
